About the Firm

ZLR Litigation is dedicated exclusively to advocating for workers’ and employees’ rights. Through individual and class action litigation as well as mass arbitration, the firm represents workers who have faced discrimination and retaliation, wage and hour violations including misclassification schemes, and wrongful termination, including for whistleblowing.

The Firm’s Mission

ZLR Litigation is built on a fundamental belief that every worker has the right to be compensated justly for their labor, to be treated with fairness and dignity, and to be able to advocate for their rights. These statements are more than philosophy; they are the driving force behind every case that ZLR Litigation undertakes.

  2. Willingness to litigate complex cases

  3. Personalized, individualized representation

  4. Strategic partnerships

  • Attorney Zach Rubin has exclusively practiced labor and employment law throughout his entire career, developing deep knowledge and strategies that come from singular focus and dedication to this field. His concentrated experience spans the full spectrum of workplace legal issues, including discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, harassment, and retaliation. Zach has litigated individual and class/collective cases in diverse forums, including state, federal, and appellate courts; arbitration and mass arbitration; and mediation.

This depth of experience enables ZLR Litigation to anticipate and counter many defense strategies, recognize favorable settlement opportunities, conduct successful negotiations, and effectively prepare compelling cases for trial when necessary. Please note that past results are not a guarantee of future outcomes or results.

  • Zach has successfully litigated cases against some of the world’s largest companies in the tech, healthcare, and transportation and distribution industries, among others. These cases require both legal expertise and the determination to persist through litigation tactics sometimes designed to exhaust plaintiffs' resources and resolve. ZLR Litigation approaches these cases with strategic precision and tenacity. This willingness to confront powerful adversaries reflects the firm's conviction that corporate size should not shield employers from accountability for workplace violations.

  • Attorney Zach Rubin takes the time to comprehend not just the legal details of each case, but also the personal impact workplace violations have had on a client’s life and well being. The firm’s client-centered philosophy means carefully listening to concerns, thoroughly answering questions, and ensuring clients feel genuinely heard and understood. This deep understanding informs decision-making throughout representation so that legal strategies are tailored to each client’s needs, objectives, and priorities rather than applying one-size-fits-all solutions. Litigation can be complicated and lengthy; Zach maintains regular communication and provides individualized attention throughout the entire process.

  • Attorney Zach Rubin is admitted to practice in four states and numerous federal courts, providing ZLR Litigation with a solid foundation for addressing employment issues across multiple jurisdictions. Through nearly a decade of focused experience in employment law, Zach has also cultivated an extensive network of strong co-counsel relationships with employment attorneys throughout the country.

When cases require additional resources or specific jurisdictional knowledge, Zach often collaborates with carefully selected attorneys who share his commitment to worker advocacy and ethical representation. These professional relationships notably enhance the firm's capabilities without sacrificing the individualized representation clients receive. This collaborative approach has proven particularly effective when confronting large corporate defendants with substantial legal resources.
